Terms of Service

Effective June 8, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of raegan.ai and the Raegan AI personal assistant ("Raegan," "the Service"). By joining the waitlist, using the website, or using Raegan as a customer, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Early access

Raegan is in early access. Features, pricing, and availability may change before general launch. We onboard customers in small groups. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access or any particular price. We will communicate plan details before you are charged.

The Service

Raegan is an AI personal assistant for business owners. She can triage and draft email, take notes, run research, manage calendar tasks, and deliver briefings through messaging channels you connect. Raegan is built on Hermes and runs on a private instance dedicated to you. She executes tasks you delegate; she is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or tax advice.

Your account and integrations

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, keeping credentials secure, and the integrations you authorize (such as Google Workspace or messaging apps). You must have the right to connect any inbox, calendar, or account you link to Raegan.

Your content and approvals

You retain ownership of your business content. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate Raegan on your behalf (for example, to read email you connect, draft replies, and store notes on your instance). By default, Raegan prepares drafts and flags items for your review. You are responsible for reviewing and approving outbound communication before it is sent, unless you explicitly configure otherwise.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Raegan for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity
• Send spam, phishing, or unauthorized bulk messages through the Service
• Attempt to access other customers' data or disrupt our infrastructure
• Reverse engineer or misuse the Service except where allowed by law
• Use Raegan in a way that violates third-party terms (email providers, messaging platforms, etc.)

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if continued use poses risk to the Service or others.

AI limitations

Raegan uses artificial intelligence. Output may be incomplete or incorrect. You should verify important information before acting on it, especially customer-facing email, scheduling, and financial decisions. We improve the product over time but do not guarantee error-free performance.

Fees and billing

Early supporter pricing is described on raegan.ai and in pricing.md. Prices shown during early access may change at general launch. Paid plans, when active, renew monthly unless stated otherwise. Refund terms will be provided at checkout. Failure to pay may result in suspension.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal and business data. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Intellectual property

We own Raegan's branding, website, and proprietary configuration. Hermes is open source under its own license. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use Raegan during your subscription or early-access period. You may not resell or white-label the Service without a separate agreement.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. EARLY ACCESS SOFTWARE MAY CONTAIN BUGS OR INTERRUPTIONS.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAEGAN AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new effective date on this page. If you are a paying customer, material changes will be communicated in advance where required. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access with notice where reasonable, or immediately for serious violations. Upon termination, your right to use Raegan ends. Export or deletion of your data is handled per our Privacy Policy and your request.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
